Childhaven Community Nursery School is a very successful, thriving nursery school located at the heart of the spectacular seaside town of Scarborough. Rated Outstanding by OFSTED in 2012 and 2015 as well as being awarded National teaching schoolstatus in 2014.

We wish to appoint a Headteacher with passion & drive for education & practice in Early Years, a strong belief in community engagement, ensuring that our nursery delivers what is needed for the young children within our locality and a commitment to developing collaborative working.

The school benefits from a knowledgeable, highly committed, experienced, and loyal team of staff, supportive parents and a caring governing body. We are lucky enough to have a diverse and multi-cultural group of children who attend Childhaven making it a rich learning environment for all.
