Saint Cecilia’s have a unique opportunity for a Group Manager to oversee the operational running of their care providers service in the Scarborough and Ryedale areas.

The role is multi-faceted and carries with it a high degree of responsibility, an ideal career enhancing platform for growth.

Firstly you will be a motivated and inspiring leader, guiding a team of Registered Managers across the organisation, ensuring that the team are well equipped with the knowledge and tools to carry out their roles, to the best of their ability. Through your background knowledge of governance and regulation, you will support and work with colleagues to meet Care Quality Commissions (CQC) standards and build upon the good rating that Saint Cecilia’s currently have. You and your team will strive to achieve the organisations ambitions of becoming Outstanding, bolstering its reputation and positioning us as the care provider and employer of choice.

As an integral member of the Senior Leadership team, you will assist the directors with the strategic direction of the organisation. You will continually highlight innovative ways in which the organisation can grow, diversify, thrive and develop to ensure it provides the best service possible to service users, families and staff.

You may not necessarily come from a care background, but you will need the core values and integrity required to join such a rewarding sector, with the privilege of being responsible for peoples care and support.

We welcome applications from a variety of sectors. Whilst you may not necessarily have a care sector background your experience of working in a related service-centred field will enable you quickly understand the sector, the regulation, the partnerships and what it takes to succeed in vital industry that are custodians of people’s quality of life. Customer experience, care and safeguarding are paramount, these will always be your strategic imperatives.

Due to large scale increases in demand in response to an aging population and ever evolving complexities in health and wellbeing, there is an impetus to utilise vital resources to good effect. There are good road networks to link you to Whitby, Scarborough, Filey and their neighbouring areas. Using main roads like the A171, A64, A165 and A170 can get you to many places in the area quickly.
